About the Artist

Julia Mendershausen Chiaro is presently living and working in Madrid with her family and their dog. Julia is the daughter of two artists, teachers and adventurers. Born in CA, she has lived and worked in the US and Europe.

My Artistic Journey

Earning a BA in Fine Art and an MFA in Costume Design led to a career as an artist and designer for Walt Disney Costuming beginning in 1996. As a freelance artist she has exhibited and sold her own work in multiple cities and towns in the US.
